Dr. Amy Whittington

 Dr. Whittington has been practicing for more than 20 years, and within the same location for most of those years.

Dr. Whittington focuses on the use of nutrition, nutrients, herbs, bio-identical hormones, nutritional injectables, and acupuncture in her optimal wellness practices.

In naturopathic education, students receive extensive education in sciences, pathology and diagnosis, and treatment modalities including pharmaceuticals, hormone therapy, botanical medicines, nutrition, homeopathy, and acupuncture. Licensure for naturopathic physicians varies from state to state. Arizona has extensive rights for naturopathic physicians, including allowing for diagnosis and prescribing rights.

Dr. Cheryl Granger

Professional headshot of woman with medium length brown hair smiling. Cheryl Granger, NMD, received her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Arizona in 1994. She then completed her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now Sonoran) in 1998. After graduation, Dr. Granger began her career working for Women’s International Pharmacy as a primary care physician. She had one-on-one training with pharmacists for over two years on bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Granger then owned her own clinic for 20-plus years with a continued focus on bio-identical hormones, along with helping patients with endocrine, weight loss issues, and preventative medicine. She is excited to use this knowledge at Alvea Spa and looks forward to meeting and supporting patients who want to feel more balanced and energetic in their lives. In her free time, Dr. Granger enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and playing games with friends and family.
