This battle has been around for a couple of decades now, with a seemingly moving target as an answer. Should you spare your body the saturated fat that naturally occurs in butter, or should you avoid the artificially produced margarine? The answer is an easy one: Butter! Butter should always be your choice, whether raw or used in cooking. Butter is a naturally occurring fat, one which your body knows how to process. Margarine, on the other hand is a man-made form of fat that otherwise does not occur in nature. The answer is always real food, your body will do the rest!

I like the blends of oils (ie. olive oil) with butter so that it is more spreadable like the margarine that you might be used to!
